How are you going to protect my furniture?

Your furniture is wrapped in heavy duty quilted padded blankets and secured inside the truck, plus our state of the art air ride suspension truck ensures your furniture and belongings arrive safely.

Do you offer packing and unpacking of cartons?

Unfortunately we do not offer this service.

Do you carry insurance?

We carry what is considered Marine Transit Insurance which covers your goods in case of a fire, collision, theft or vehicle rollover. For all risk insurance we recommend you contact your insurance broker or company.

Will I need to dismantle all my furniture?

We understand that not all furniture can be dismantled. However if you are able to assist us in preparing your furniture for the move as best as possible, your items will be easier and safer to transport and will save some loading and unloading time. Remove non-fixed shelves from cabinets, book cases and cupboards and if possible, dismantle beds for easier, more efficient and safer transport. We are able to dismantle furniture ie beds, tables, if requested prior to pick-up.

Do I need to remove drawers from furniture?

No. However, please ensure drawers are empty as we sometimes load items top-to-top for better protection of each surface.

Do I need to be home at the pick up or drop off locations?

We understand this is probably a busy time for you and there is much to be done, so as long as there is someone to let us in at each location, technically no. However, it is always beneficial to have someone help direct us with regard to goods for loading and positioning of the goods at the arrival destination.

Can I transport food?

Yes, but as the transport time is 2 days we recommend you make alternative arrangements for any food.

Can I transport pets?

We have transported a range of pets from tropical fish to birds, however, again we would recommend alternative arrangements are made for the transportation of pets.

Do you advise of pick up and delivery times?

Yes. We advise you of both and will keep you updated of any unforseen delays during the course of the day.

Does it cost extra if moving to an apartment building?

Yes, depending on which floor the apartment is on in the location, lift access and sometimes, the size of the lift. These elements will vary your quote.

Can I move into an apartment building at anytime?

No, we encourage you to check with your strata managers before booking a collection or delivery, as many apartment buildings, especially in Southbank and Docklands will not allow for Sunday collection or drop off.
